An Augmented Teleconsultation Platform for Depressive Disorders

Depressive disorders are a leading cause of morbility and disability in the working population worldwide. Psychiatric assessment treatment depressive may be improved by using objective behavioral physiological biomarkers. In this work we present psychiatry telemedicine platform where two important biomarkers depression, eye-blinking rate heart variability, computed from video stream shown to clinician real time during teleconsultation. order validate our processing methods, use public annotated dataset with image photoplethysmography information, complemented us eye blinking information. For detection, obtained 94%±16% precision best scenario. estimation %LF LF/HF, mean errors 16.9NU 1.1, respectively, outperforming state art. These results show potential proposed platform.
